"Syrenka" Little Mermaid - Mixed Media Workshop

Friday, February 21st 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. In Polish folklore, Syrenka is a dimmunitive mermaid. We'll capture her fluid image in this exciting mixed-media workshop featuring: painted backgrounds, stamping techniques using found materials, layered textures, torn paper and embellishments. The surface is an 8" x 10" canvas panel suitable for framing or simply resting on a small easel. No drawing ability is required! Just come along and have fun playing with the possibilities! The Class Fee for "Syrenka" includes instruction plus all materials needed to complete your project. Students are asked to bring their own lunch. Coffee, bevereges and dessert will be provided.

Amber Eyes

Who could resist those soulful eyes begging for a treat? Originally painted on a wood sconce/shelf from our friends at JB Wood Products (Item #1044), I also painted it on the lid of an oval tin box. Pattern size is approximately 7" in diameter. DecoArt Americana acrylic paints and mediums are listed. Packet features full-color, laser printed step-by-step instructions.

Blue Crab and Sea Shells

A Festive Nest

I used a hand-crafted swan decoy as a model for this painting. The original was executed on a large tray, but it looks great on a bentwood box, placemats, framed panel or tavern board. Two pattern sizes are included: 11" x 14" and 8" x 11". JoSonja acrylic paints and mediums are listed. This packet is now produced in full-color on our laser printer.
